This Halloween was an extremely good one for me. My boyfriend and I dressed up as Daisy Buchanan and Jay Gatsby from The Great Gatsby and went to a Halloween party with our friends. This party was a pot luck so I opted to bring dessert, I chose to make Mini Halloween Shortcakes, and they turned out great! The recipe is the same recipe as my Gluten Free Strawberry Shortcake, so just click on the link if you want the shortcake recipe. To make them Halloween themed I dyed the dream whip orange and added Halloween sprinkles. I also wanted these desserts to be bite size so they would be more convenient to eat, so I cut them into bite size circles using a cookie cutter, then layered them. Happy Halloween!
