Saint Patricks Day Smoothie

Since Saint Patricks day is quickly approaching I thought I would create a healthy Saint Patricks day treat. Instead of indulging in a shamrock shake or a green beer try this beautiful, clean smoothie... trust me it taste better then those unhealthy drinks anyways. It is a combination of a banana vanilla layer and a spinach kiwi layer that is sure to rock your taste buds! Enjoy!

What You'll Need: 

White Layer: 

1/2 banana

approx. 3 tbsp. vanilla yogurt

1/2 cup ice

1/4 cup almond milk + extra water if it is too thick 

Green Layer: 

1/2 banana 

1 tbsp. vanilla yogurt 

3 kiwi fruit 

handful of spinach 

approx. 1/3 cup water 

1/2 cup ice

1. Blend all white ingredients together, place to the side. 

2. Blend all green ingredients together, place to the side. Alternate between pour white portion of the smoothie and green portion of smoothie until your glass is full and voila! You have a nice clean Saint Patricks day treat.
