Persimmon Swirl Smoothie

Even though the weather is getting cooler I still love a good smoothie. It is an easy way to get an abundance of fruits into your diet and allows me to use up my fruit that is starting to get over ripe. This Persimmon Swirl Smoothie is a perfect  blend of persimmon and banana, two fruits I love, I recommend giving it a try!

What You'll Need: 

Orange Swirl: 

2 persimmons

100g mango- passion fruit yogurt

1 tbsp. chia seed

approx. 1/3 cup crushed ice

approx. 1/3 cup almond milk 

White Swirl: 

1 ripe banana

1/2 cup ice

approx. 1/2 cup almond milk 

1. First, blend orange swirl ingredients together, pour into cup. 

2. Blend white swirl ingredients together, use a spoon and slowly layer on top of orange layer creating a swirl !
